Goods coming into New Zealand
Border agencies require information from the carrier, the freight forwarder and the importer or their agent so we can assess risk and collect any charges that need to be paid.

Inward Cargo Report (ICR)
ICRs are used by carriers to advance report cargo arriving in New Zealand and to report details of exempt entry goods such as international transhipments and low value goods.
WCO3 Inward Cargo Reports are mandatory from 30 June 2019.

Craft Arrival and Departures
- Advanced Notice of Arrival: For commercial ships. Incorporates Inward Report information if known, precluding the need for a separate Inward Report.
