What’s happening in 2022 – DTR Sea Freight pilot
- In late 2021, Customs and MPI will be seeking feedback from the Sea Freight industry to confirm their readiness to receive TSW status notifications on domestic movements.
- Messages resulting from ICR processing contain notifications for clearance and notifications for movement, and port companies need to be able to receive and act on these. Customs and MPI will work with the ports to make these changes in anticipation of a sea freight pilot to start at the beginning of 2022.
