Customs regulatory systems

On this page you’ll find information about our regulatory systems, including descriptions, improvements, and related documents.

The Government expects Customs to regularly publish information about our regulatory systems. Publishing information about our regulatory systems:

  • increases awareness and visibility of system pain points, gaps, risks, and opportunities
  • gives stakeholders and other agencies more awareness and time to prepare for changes
  • supports better stakeholder engagement on our regulatory performance and improvement priorities.
