Make an Official Information Act (OIA) request
If you want to request information from us, ensure your request is as clear and specific as possible.
Before making a request, check our other sources of information. What you're looking for may already be publicly available.
We'll respond to you as soon as reasonably practicable. In any case, we will respond no later than 20 working days after the day Customs receives your request.
How to make an Official Information Act request
To make a request, you can:

If you make the request by phone or in person, we will:
- confirm your request in writing ourselves, or
- ask you to put your request in writing if we're not sure what information you're requesting.
